Education Connection Podcast Series Adds New Programs
Updates range from English Language Learners to 2009 Legislative Outlook to working with the media

Updates have been added to CSD’s Education Connection podcast series and the Education Today blog site. 

Topics range from English Language Learners; Preparing Students for the Global Workplace; Teacher Retirement and Social Security Issue; Legislative Outlook for 2009; and Media Training Tips for Education Leaders. 

Dr. John Urkevich, Executive Director of Cooperating School Districts, provides a 2009 legislative outlook specifically discussing the current economic downturn and its resulting budget crisis and how education will feel its effects.  Randy Maier, manager of education relations and Matt Aubuchon, director of human resources and staffing at The Boeing Company, talk about strategies students can use to prepare for the global workplace.
