The annual Show-Me a Movie Digital Storytelling Contest, sponsored by the Cooperating School Districts of Greater St. Louis, Inc. (CSD) and Tech for Learning, celebrated its fourth anniversary with a record number of student entries.
Over 100 movies were submitted from St. Louis area school students for the recently held contest. Categories for the Show-Me a Movie contest include: Show Me a Challenge; Show-Me Your Community; Show-Me a Story; and Show-Me Something New. The contest consists of three divisions: elementary, middle school, and high school. Judges from across the St. Louis metropolitan area reviewed the movies to make sure guidelines were met and cash prizes were awarded in the different divisions of each category.
The student winners were recognized during a reception at the Midwest Education Technology Conference (METC), which was held January 26-28 at the St. Charles Convention Center.
