Cooperating School Districts serves as a partner in the region to help extend educational opportunities to local schools with the goal to improve learning in the classroom.
Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis
CSD, joined by the Ferguson-Florissant School District and the St. Louis Science Center, is one of three regional partners to bring the Challenger Learning Center to St. Louis. The Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis is part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, an international not-for-profit education organization founded in April 1986 by the families of the astronauts tragically lost during the Challenger space shuttle mission.
Do The Right Thingof Greater St. Louis, Inc. is a program that recognizes the positive behaviors of area children. Cooperating School Districts, along with KMOV Channel 4, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, St. Louis County Police Department, and the Suburban Journals is proud to recognize area children who “do the right thing” in monthly award ceremonies. School Law Seminar

CSD partners with the Magic House Children's Museum on several initiatives, including an annual conference for kindergarten teachers. The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing children with hands-on learning experiences in a creative and stimulating environment.CSD has a strong presence with the following organizations to help assure that the children in local school districts are well served, not only by our member schools, but by the various organizations in the region:Arts & Education Council, Diversity Awareness Partnership, Education Equity Action Team, FOCUS St. Louis, Higher Education Consortium, International Leadership Network, Kids Caring 4 Kids campaign, KidSMART, Missouri Historical Society, Missouri School Public Relations Association, National Conference for Community and Justice, Partners in Collaboration, St. Louis Black Leadership Roundtable Education Initiatives, St. Louis County Truancy Court, St. Louis 4 Kids, St. Louis Science Center, United Way and Youth Provider Network.
