CSD Congratulates Northwest R-1 Board of Education
Missouri School Boards' Association (MSBA) Honors Board With Prestigious Award
The Northwest R-1 School District Board of Education has received the honor of Missouri’s Outstanding Board of Education for 2007. The announcement was made on October 27 during the 2007 Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) annual conference at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The Northwest R-1 Board of Education was one of six finalists. A total of 524 school boards were eligible for the prestigious award, which was based on their effort to provide meaningful educational opportunities for their students, success in student achievement and their commitment to training.
The Northwest R-1 School District, located in Jefferson County, has an enrollment of 7,000 students.
